Mantras from Ratna Ling: Volume III
Mantra is enlightened energy encoded into syllables and sound. Uniting energy with knowledge, mantra is a support for healing and transcendence. Mantra engages the body, speech, and mind, integrating energy, intention and insight that open to greater awareness. Through its workings, emotionality and conceptual structures give way to the joyful clarity that comes with joyful states of mind.
This CD introduces the Lama Gyang Bod, a prayer to the Vajrayana lineage written by Jamgon Kontrul Lodro mTha Ya to invoke spiritual union with the all-encompassing Lama. This prayer summarizes the preliminary teachings of all the major schools of Tibetan Buddhism while calling upon the "First Lama" - Padmasambhava - and the gurus of the Dzog-chen lineage.
The accompanying text has more information about the purpose of the mantra and what circumstances under which one might chant it. Please contact us at contact@dharmapublishing.com for more information.
